Yandere Virus System Requirements

Official minimum and recommended Yandere Virus PC requirements, Windows support, storage, DirectX, and language details.

Published Checked

Quick answer: The minimum tier asks for 8 GB RAM and a GTX 1060 6GB or RX 570 6GB. The recommended tier asks for 16 GB RAM and an RTX 2060 6GB or RX 5700 XT 6GB. Both list 64-bit Windows 10/11 and 12 GB of storage.

These are the advertised fields on the official Steam page, checked September 20, 2026. They are not measured frame-rate guarantees.

How should you compare your PC?

Use the component model, not only its brand name:

  1. Press Win + R, enter dxdiag, and open the result.
  2. Compare the Processor and Memory fields with the table above.
  3. Open the Display tab and compare the exact GPU model and video memory.
  4. Check that the Windows system type is 64-bit.
  5. Leave at least 12 GB of free storage, plus practical headroom for updates and temporary files.

A newer product name is not automatically faster, especially across laptop and desktop variants. When a model is close to the minimum, use a reputable hardware comparison rather than guessing from the numbering alone.

What do the two tiers promise?

They communicate developer-listed compatibility targets. The store does not attach a resolution, frame rate, graphics preset, crowded multiplayer condition, or upscaling setting to either tier.

Therefore:

  • “minimum” should not be translated into a promised 60 FPS result;
  • “recommended” should not be translated into an ultra-settings guarantee;
  • laptop thermal limits and reduced-power GPUs can affect results;
  • launch patches may change practical performance without immediately changing the table.

If the game releases with a benchmark or a developer performance note, that should be considered separately from the raw hardware list.

Which platforms are listed?

Windows is the advertised platform. Both requirement tiers name Windows 10 64-bit and Windows 11. The checked store page does not list macOS or Linux requirements, and it does not establish PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, or mobile support.

Which languages are supported?

Steam displays 23 supported languages for interface and subtitles. They are English, Korean, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Dutch, Danish, Vietnamese, Swedish, Spanish (Latin America), Ukrainian, Indonesian, Traditional Chinese, Czech, Thai, Turkish, Portuguese (Brazil), Polish, Hungarian, and Russian.

Korean is the only language marked for full audio in the table. The others are listed for interface and subtitles, not full voice acting.

What if your PC meets the list but something goes wrong?

First confirm that you are trying to access the right product: the full game is not available before release, and the discontinued demo cannot launch. Historical community posts mention connection, camera-sensitivity, and clipping symptoms, but they do not establish a launch-build problem or solution. Use Connection, Camera & Launch Help to separate those cases.
